I am very very new to linux.

what I have curently is a single linux box on my internal network

(no monitor - keyboard - mouse) hooked up to this box

I want to use this strickly as a processor and NX into as needed

I had NX server setup and I have used nx client to access it until a couple of days ago

I now can not access the PC using NX Server but I can still access it using Putty and SSH

I have tried to restart the nx server.. no luck

I uninstalled NXserver

I forced reinstalled nx node and client but i get an error when install nxserver

[root@localhost tony]# rpm -ivh nxserver-3.2.0-7.i386.rpm --force
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
1:nxserver ########################################### [100%]
NX> 701 Updating: server at: Fri Apr 25 17:06:17 2008.
NX> 701 Autodetected system: fedora.
NX> 701 Update log is: /usr/NX/var/log/update.
NX> 701 Checking NX server configuration using /usr/NX/etc/server.cfg file.
NX> 701 ERROR: Output: chown: `nx:root': invalid user.
NX> 701 ERROR: Cannot set ownership attributes for '/usr/NX/etc' to 'nx:root'.
