Hallo.
I have tryied to install Linux on my notebook fujitsu amilo L6825, but had problems with screen resolution. while operating in windows i normally have 1024X768, in linux (fedora distr.) i had only 600x400 ;(. Installing other distr (e.g. debian, parsix, mandrivia i hav problems with graphics server). Please tell me, what linux distr. schould i install in order not to have such problems ? PC main characteristics 256mb ram, 2,6GHz intel celeron. Thanx in advance Sj |

I believe it uses an Intel graphics adapter but I could not find much information. Post the output of the command:
lspci This will tell us the chipset information. Either Fedora does not have the driver for this adapter or x is just not configured correctly. Check out Ubuntu or Knoppix to see if they work out of the box any better then the ones you have tried. |
