Hey Guys,

Quick question. I'm using Ubuntu for a server and I just noticed that if I have users connected to the server via ssh with a user and I call /etc/init.d/ssh stop or ssh restart the user is still connected with the shell. I also notice from ps -aux that sshd spans threads for each user connecting. Is this normal or a new feature? With slack if i killed sshd then it was dead and every user disconnected. Also if it is a feature. If I apply any changes to ssh's config and I restart it does it apply to users still logged in or will it apply to them once they disconnect?

Thanks

Matt
