Hi guys.
I have a problem cutting video remotely. I want to cut a segment out video files, mostly wmv. I do not want to convert wmv to avi or any other format. I used mencoder, with the copy commands. I successfully got a 1 minute cut. However, I checked the information on my windows machine with gspot and the source and cut file weren't the same (bitrate, codecs, etc.) Also, I can play the wmv source fine in windows media player, but the cut file says that the extension does not match the file type. I can cut on windows, but I want to use Linux, so I posted here :)
Hopefully someone can help.
