Hey Guys.

Has anyone run into this problem before. I'm using samba as a active directory replacement. In my computer lab are a mix of Windows 98 and now new XP Pro clients.
I have samba set up correctly (ill post the conf as soon as I get to work). When the win98 clients login and netlogin maps their homes as a p:, it access's them pretty quick through my computer. But for the xp systems, when they log in it takes a good min or two to bring up their mapped p: . As well I noticed I now have a Public directory created inside their homes which basicly is representing their c:/documents and settings/user. so I think it could be related to roaming profiles with xp pro on a domain. Has anyone have this problem before. Oh and once the systems access their home directory once, its instantly fast after this point.

Matt
