Is there any way to hook up a cable modem through USB port? I can't seem to be able to make it work with man 9 and every help topic I see refers to hooking up the modem through a network card...is that the only way?

Yo pmasta gdawg! I got the exact same prob dude!!! IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT USES USB CABLE MODEM!!!!!?? I don't want to use cable modem through NIC. Peace out brahs

if i were you....
using cable modem is the best possible choice....
next would be internal cable modem....

lastely is hooking it up via the USB port.....
