Due to blue screen issues with windows I had to completely reinstall it, however the deletion of the windows partition has meant that Linux can no longer find the root partition. I have tried to reinstall Lilo using the Mandrake 9.0 rescue disk, but can't get it to find the root partition, yet using the console I am able to see all of the partitions.

Can anyone help me get back into Linux without having to reinstall.
