I am new to Linux. I am running fedora core 6. I have a 200 gig hard drive in my PC but it only seems to be seeing about 50. What happened to the other 150 gig?

There should be an icon on the task bar that looks like a video monitor. Select this icon by left mouse button. A window should pop up that is black with a command prompt that looks similar to:

Type in the commands:
su - (press enter, the - is important)
(enter your root password)
fdisk -l (again that is a small L)

This is the console window. Similar to the windows command prompt or DOS box window. In linux many GUIs utilities are front end to command line applications.
