Hi there
This is my first ever posting, anywhere.

I am getting input/out put errors with the dd command when cloning a special floppy. I cannot be sure that every sector is formated in DOS. Should the dd command work regardless of format?

AFAIK The dd command should work regardless of the format. Post the exact commands you are using. So how is this floppy formated?
