hi, we have a Red Hat Linux 6.2 Dedicated Webserver and as of last week are receiving errors in the logs. Visitors to some of the domains are reporting that the their mail server is not always found and their websites keep going down. We have checked our logs and getting the following error in the system log:
Apr 23 09:49:07 named[509]: sysquery: findns error (NXDOMAIN) on ns2.blueboxtechnology.com? Apr 23 09:49:07 named[509]: sysquery: findns error (NXDOMAIN) on ns1.blueboxtechnology.com? Apr 23 09:45:55 named[509]: sysquery: findns error (NXDOMAIN) on ns2.blueboxtechnology.com? But some of the times it is working perfect. We have tried several reboots of the server but to no use. We are not that familar with linux and are not sure what to try next. Hope someone can help! Thomas Kirk |
