I would like a guide on Installing Red Hat Linux via VMware on Windows 2000 Sever. I have already installed Windows 2000 server as the OS, and now i wanted to install Red Hat as another OS. Therefore, I installed VMware 4.5.2 and it was successfully done, but trying to install Red hat was giving me an error. "No Hard Drive found".

Could you plse give info regarding this.

Server: IBM xSeries 206m
HD: 73G

Thanking you in advance for your support.

If you are installing RHEL within Vmware, it should be the easiest stuff to do.

Before installing RHEL inside the virtual machine you need to set virtual disks from Vmware configuration.

read the help properly, they have nice documentation.
