Linux Help friends,
I would like to know if anyone have used both methodes on a simular Pooter and am able and willing to give a comparison or pros and cons to each method of getting my wi-fi card wi-ing and Fi-ing.

I have a Compaq V2570NR Notebook which have the Broadcom BCM4318 pci wireless network card.

I am using Ubuntu 6.06LTS which have native drivers for my card but needs some configuring or installation. I am now using a borrowed Netgear WG511T card now that just needed inserting and it was working.

I am a newbie but a quick study if instructions are clear and complete, not I.T. slang, Chat lanquage or not worded as if it is to someone who know Linux but needs a reminder.
Sincerely Bruh.
