I have Suse set up on dual monitors with one monitor, a Viewsonic 14ES, working ok. I messed up the settings for the other monitor which is a CompuAdd 51086. I need the proper vert/horiz frequencies for this monitor and I would like help with how to get the settings into Linux, since I am having problems with the GUI and the monitor setup in YaST. YaST seems to be hanging, or else I could probably fix this by trial and error on the settings for the monitor.

I do not have the Linux computer hooked up to the internet yet, so I can't download anything directly to it, and I still have dialup, so I can't download a complete distribution easily.

I am a newbie to Linux so I may need the help spelled out since I am not too familiar with the non-gui commands.

Thanks for any help in these problem areas.
