I have two OS's, DOS and LINUX and were both "bootable" by using LILO.

However, i needed to re-install Windows 98 and now LILO does not work.

My partitions are as follows

DOS (Bootable) /dev/hda1
LINUX (Native) /dev/hda2
LINUX (Swap) /dev/hda3

I tryed booting LINUX with CD ROM support and typed
"vmlinuz root=/dev/hda2"
at the 'PARAMETERS' prompt and i successfully mounted LINUX with a complaint about how to mount LINUX properly. I successfully login as ROOT (and other USERS) but the 'X' server has somehow been disabled (probs because of not using LILO).

How can i fix this problem.
