okkkay, linux isnt fun and easy as i thought.... well, how the hell do i compile something? when i type ./configure in the konsole, it says
configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $path

what should i do?

Im running on Linux Kunbutu

Install a compiler. It is probably caleld "gcc" in synaptic (the package manager)
