I am running a Linux box at home and want to set up a FTP directory spanning 2 drives. One is my second hard drive on the local machine and the other is a XP network share that I am trying to mount on the linux box. I want both of these to mount under the FTP login so that all the FTP user sees is in their root access Upload(local drive) and download(XP share) Can anyone help the Newby on this?

sure

mount your xp shared directory on a directory like /download

install proftpd

it's one of the ftp server, where you can configure many possibilities.

than you can define in your proftpd.conf file, the download and upload directory for anonymous users.

I don't know if you need seperate upload directories for each user?
