Hi!
I'm upgrading to kde-3.5.3, but found a problem while trying to compile kdelibs. At the end of configure, it doesn't show any error but says that it doesn't file libacl, which is needed for some filesystem related stuff which i didn't exactly understand. However, i downloaded and installed libacl-2.2.34 (executing, as docs say, both make install and make install-lib) but kdelibs configure keeps showing:

libacl was not found. Without that library, you will not be able
to manage access control lists on file systems that support them,
such as ext3 or reiserfs.
You can download it from ftp://oss.sgi.com/projects/xfs/cmd_tars/
(you will need attr too)

This comes up at the end of configure. If i go a little bit up:

checking sys/acl.h usability... no
checking sys/acl.h presence... no
checking for sys/acl.h... no
checking sys/xattr.h usability... yes
checking sys/xattr.h presence... yes
checking for sys/xattr.h... yes
checking attr/libattr.h usability... yes
checking attr/libattr.h presence... yes
checking for attr/libattr.h... yes
checking for acl_init in -lacl... no
checking acl/libacl.h usability... no
checking acl/libacl.h presence... no

I installed everything under /usr.
By the way, i'm on a slackware machine, so i can't use rpms or something like that.
Can anybody help me??
Thank you
