Ok, so I'm pretty much new to Linux.

I seem to be having problems with firefox but I'm not sure how to solve it.

Things like the download window and the extensions window are just blank even after I click to download. I do know how to use firefox as I use it all the time on windows and had no problems. Gah, I just don't know how to fix it sad.gif

Can anyone help?

Oh, here's two screenshots to show what I mean.

Where did you install Firefox from? Was it included on your system? What version are you using? What distro of linux are you running?

All useful information. wink.gif

If you're using the Firefox 2 beta version, you might consider downgrading to 1.x or 1.5.x

If this version of Firefox came with your distro, upgrade it using whatever tool your distro uses. (apt-get, yum, etc.)

If you downloaded it from the firefox website, perhaps there's a permission problem? Try running firefox again as root, and see if the issue goes away.
