Im new to Linux. Im trying to install Linux on my new dell, but the installer (Red Hat Lunix Bible CD's that came with it) wont recognize my usb keyboard, so I cant make any selections. The back of the CPU does not have ps/2 ports, only usb. Dont tell me Im going to have to get a old-school type pci adapter or something...

Does the keyboard work during the bot process? Some BIOSes need to be configured to support USB keyboards in the setup.

The keyboard works up until when bootloader starts up...the keyboard lights turn off in the middle of it, then when I get to the CD Media check screen, I cant do anything....Everything in BIOS is fine; I have no legacy ports on my Dell.....everything is usb..
