Help! I can receive emails, but can't send out. i had posted this once before, but had problems with info coming out to you. I have messed with the smtp and such but am not quite that computer savy. My computer is slowing way down also, and was wondering where in applications or such to find a way to defrag? Can anyone help me? Or should i drop kick the computer? unsure.gif

What email cient are using to send the emails? Can you rpvide the settings that you used to set it up?

Linux disks generally dont need defragging, they tend to manage the data more efficiently than FAT or NTFS (MS disk formats).

If you computer is slwoing down, then it might be an idea to run (as root) the "top" command from a console (eg KDE's "konsole" program).

To get root access, just type "su -", followed by your root password, into the console.
