i have recently installed suse linux version 10 on our famillys 2 computers,it partitioned the hard drives with no problems it all seems to work very well, but we live in rural france and our internet is via a sagem livebox from wanadoo one computer is on usb the other is supposed to connect via wifi but never has.
is there anyway to connect linux to the wanadoo livebox or will i have to buy a new modem and find a new isp.
at the momment we are using a p2 packard bell with a 2 gig windows partition to use for the internet but this doesn't leave much space after the antivirus, firewall, antispy, wanadoo drivers and ofcourse windows xp
other than our inability to connect, both machines are preforming very well and linux games at least are very popular with our kids
hopefully someone else has allready solved this problem and can offer an easy solution
