I'm a bit new to Linux, and am running Ubuntu (debian based) on an i386 notebook. Although I am very happy with the Linux applications, situations arise where I don't have time to tinker with WINE and cannot use Linux apps. I would like to be able to run a Windows virtual machine on my computer using VMware software. It would be much appreciated if I could find out what to use (VMware player or workstation) and how to do so.

Thanks,
ben
