Hey, i'm an extremely new Linux user, I am a MAc user, but this has proved to be of little/no help to me. I have this old Patriot computer im trying to breathe life into, and the ethernet requires this driver:
http://www.davicom.com.tw/big5/download/Dr...nux22x_v136.zip

However, i haven't a clue how to install it. Please help! sad.gif

Cheers, Matt.

What distribution / version of linux are you running?

The module might already be included. As root start a terminal window and enter the following command:
modprobe dmfe

If no messages or errors are displayed then the module loaded successfully.
