OMG Pleeeese Help!

I ran a script that created thousands of HTML files. Now when I restart my RedHat 9 server I can't see the login screen... Like the resolution or windowsX interface is broke.

The web server is running! I can request HTML files from another computer but telnet, FTP & SSH are disabled.

I think if I could somehow login and delete some of the files maybe it would work again.

How do I boot my RedHat9 server to the shell prompt?
How can I recover the script files I've spent hours working on?

Thanks
Eddy

Hopefully the Ctrl-alt-del function will either reboot the PC or perform a shutdown. To reboot the computer to console mode (shell prompt) at the grub menu press the e key and enter
init 3
