Whats this Lie-nix Thing?

I am running linux mandriva 2006. I am unable to open one site with any browser. The site does say explorer 5.5 to open. This is password protected site. Can amy one help?

Usually there's no good reason that your browser can't work. Some web developers just decide to exclude all browsers other than IE.

Anyway, many Linux browsers give you the option of telling web sites that they are actually IE. I generally use Opera and with that browser, just go to tools -> preferences -> advanced -> network -> identify browser as:

and select IE. I can't tell you how, but I do know that many other Linux browsers ahve the same capability.
