I took over a linux box and need to know the list of users so I can manage them and delete unwanted or unused users. Any suggestions?

To get a list of users *only* try :
cat /etc/passwd | cut -d ":" -f 1 -

-- a *certified* n00b

My Desktop : OpenSuSE 10.1 | FVWM-Crystal | MPD | Gaim | Opera | Mrxvt
