Whats this Lie-nix Thing?

okay - i bought a usb flash memory, says really big on the case that it's Linux Compatible.
When i plug it in, Konqueror pops up and says

media:/sda1

Error cannot be found

or something along those lines. Here is my tail

went to /media/USBNAME and got it to work

should be /media/sda1 - but since i formated it in WinXP it was /media/DEUCE
