I am working with a package that has several c files( with the extension .c ). I want to write automatically all these function prototypes in a file.

I have installed cproto. I also have written at the top of every .c file

#ifndef LINT

static char* <string_name - same as the file_name > ="@(#)<file_name.c>

#endif

I am using Linux. What else should I do to see these prototypes automatically written in a file?
Thanks,
casady
