I'm using the latest debian woody release with kernel 2.2.2, keep in mind that i have never actualy used linux before.
I have an MSI GeForce 4 Ti 4200, basicly here's what happens when i try to isntall the latest drivers from the nvidia site:

I can't seem to pull up the link that you have posted. Is it error messages or something? If so, try to paste them in here. I've been using Debian for many years so I may be able to be of assistance.
