Hi:

Hi have recently started using linux. I downloaded Suse 9.3 and installed it in my PC, it worked just great and it's the only OS I have in that computer. Then I decided to install it on my TabletPC, it's a Acer TravelMate C100. I did the installation but when trying to boot I get this message "Grub Hard Disk Error". The only way I can get it to boot is if I have CD 1 in the CD Rom, then I can boot the one I choose (Windows or Linux). Is there a way to fix this so I don't need to have the CD on the drive? The other thing is that my CDRom is external and I don't want to be taking it with me every way I go.

Thanks

Tonyc

Try flushing your MBR with a boot disc first, and re-running the install (in order to install to the MBR of your hard drive).
