Masters, I got a linux running as our email / web server, It was running fine but then it suddenly stopped providing internet access to the rest of the network. Yahoo messenger is still working but any http or web page request by any client is denied. thanks for the help.

hi,

please paste me the following

CODE
iptables -L

WARNING : in case you use some sorta public ip address , then please xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx them out just in case smile.gif

CODE
/etc/init.d/squid status

I think you either have some iptables rule that redirects http or blocks it, or you used squid, and for some reason it died, and haven't started up.

Sincerely
Robert B
