I am running fedora 4 and had a problem with my old intel network card. I have replaced it with a netcomm card that runs realtek RTL-813 chipset. It shows in the hardware tab in network config but not in the network device control. Any help would be great.

did you configure your network card, after changing it. I think you should do it...you can do it from network config itself..then you can see your card there in the network device control.

The reason is pretty simple..without proper configuration the device would have failed to initialize so you need to setup things first....
