I just bought a new KVM to use on my two machines - windows XP and Fedora 4. To switch between them I tap scroll lock twice. When I am in windows it works just fine, I tap scroll lock and I get into Linux. Once I am in Linux I can tap scroll lock all day and nothing happens. Not even the LED comes on. If I ctrl+alt+fn into a terminal I can scroll lock twice to get into windows. SO it's an issue with X. I tried reading and playing around with utils like xmodmap, but no help. Can someone please help me!

On a side note. I jsut got a new keyboard too. It's a logitech g15. My old KVM and keyboard DID work in Linux and windows.

In a terminal you can press Ctrl-s to activate the scroll lock. As for, your problem is concerned no idea man...never used KVMs.
