I have a Microtel computer that I bought from Wal-Mart that had linspire on it I bought an us robotics 5610b modem to put in it. it came with a rpm driver that would not in install so I changed to mandriva I installed the driver and it recognized the modem and I set up a connection and that all work but with I hit connect it says looking for the modem and then says modem is busy I called us robotics and they could not help me and I donít know what to do u guys have any suggestions

I am not sure, what you mean by that? Your modem is working or not buddy?
Or just when it is working...you click on the connect button(*just for fun,i guess*) and it throws up the error - "Device is busy"?

Can you just clarify a bit..
