when im trying to install sol linux and am at the part were io select the drive i would liek to install it on nothing comes up, i have looked at the setup and i see that it is a scsi drive with a foxconn contoler in a raid array,there isent a option to set it in the bios so i am lost.

its a dell poweredge 850

I am unfamilar with Foxconn controllers. Could you post the model number?
Is this an after market controller or one originally installed by Dell?
