On my server when I run netstat -l --tcp It takes 20 to 30 seconds to return. This seems like a long tiime to me and I was wondering if there is anything I need to be checking to see if the network may be having some problems?

This system is my firewall, DNS, Mail, ftp, web, and dial up server. I am conserned that the network might be having problems.
Any help would be greatly appericeated.

Thank you.

netstat taking that long seems normal, if you have a fair bit of traffic.

iptraf is a good tool to check to see network activity
