I am new to linux and have just loaded fedoracore 4 . I have managed to mount the cdand open the folder but I cant open the files. I need help, thanks ron888

Who says...you need to do chmod for opening files??

Just open the file browser and try double clicking everything you see....Don't worry nothing will explode!!

If you are using Gnome, then you should have Computer or Home icon..just try double clicking on them. Same with KDE. Don't jump into commands now..
