I am new to linux and have just loaded fedoracore 4 . I have managed to mount the cdand open the folder but I cant open the files. I need help, thanks ron888

you have to chmod them so they can be ran in some cases. other wise type ./"name of file", or you add it to your path variables.

run man chmod to find out how to use that shit

but if your looking for a fast run of a file just type: chmod o=wrx "filename" then use the ./ convention to run it.
