I downloaded the linux drivers from Asus for my A7V333 motherboards onboad lan chip made by Broadcom. Broadcom 440x 10/100 chip. Asus claims it is tested working up to 2.4.18 which is what i have.
My problem is when i try to "make" the driver....there is a long scroll of text with nothing but errors, and the file *.o file is not created from the .c and .h files.
Can anyone help me out?
I can copy the error message if someone needs it to help me.

Thanks in advance!!!

Ok...i'm a newbie sorry...
wouldnt make cuz i didnt have enough redhat installed...i had to add the development tools.
i was limited to space at first so i did minimal install....now i run make file...but still doesnt work.
i'm not a programmer but i love the feel and look of linux...only experience is with redhat and cygwin running kde 2
