Hey, I help run the networking for a group at my school. We need a way to authenticate member's lap tops on our network. We allow members to bring in their lappies and plug in but we need a secure way to limit the access to members.

We are currently using MAC filtering but any of your guys who know anything about networking know thats about the weakest forum of security.

The main concern is being able to track back any less then reputable network traffic to a single user, so we would like to have them log in each use. We have an LDAP database for all the users, so anything that could interface with that would be great.

Anyways, if anybody has any suggestions I am all ears.
