Hi

Hope you can help. I have just upgraded my Acer 1363 WLMi laptop from Suse Linux 9.3 to 10.0. On 9.3 I was able to connect to the Internet using Kinternet with no problem but now I get the following log messages:

Trying to connect to SMPPPD
Connect to SMPPPD
Status is disconnecting
Status is connecting
Status is disconnected
PPPd[0] died: pppd options error (exit code 2)

Modem used is an internal AC 97

Thanks

I have exactly the same problem!! I get the same list in the log.

I have a Zoom Technologies USB Fax Modem that works perfetly on my Windows machine. It is deteced by Suse 10.0, but so far I have not been able to connect to my ISP (BTYahoo). Please help, as I want to ditch Windows completely!!!!
