I had a look in fstab, it said there is a cdrom in dev/cdrom/cdrom

so i did
mount /dev/cdrom

it says special device does not exist
Might this be drivers or something?

Any ideas/suggestions?

thanks

What distribution / version of linux are you running?
What are you hardware specifications and type of CDROM interface i.e. IDE, SCSI etc..?
What is the output of the command ls -l /dev/cdrom?
