Hi, I had problem with deleting messages from inbox. When checked the mesages for deletion. It gives an error like
header size inconsistent
Pine existing
Abort

The problem may cause I passed the quota limit and there is a .lock file on my account.
I increase the quota and solve the mail getting problem but still am not able to delete the mails.
Thanks

Now this error I got once with squirrelmail, and quotas.

The problem showed up when I got a huge mail in inbox, or lots of small mails (but the total size is bigger then the max quota). And when I try to delete it says, cannot do so.

The answer is simple : (or was after I've found out) since you already are above your max quota, and when you delete, what you really do is not delete but move to the delete folder, it wont allow it...since the quota limit is reached.

You need to configure your software not to move stuff to delete folder but to delete it completely
and you'll see that it will now delete it.

Sincerely
Robert B
