Hi, I am a VERY newbie to Linux as you will note from this question.

I am trying to use make. I have all my files in the one directory but when I use make it reports that the header file does not exists but it is there when I "ls" and I can list the contents with "cat guesses.h"

Help please - My assignment is due today :<{

you need a makefile, you have to actually have a makefile. I suppose its to late for your assignment, but thats you're problem.

Try putting the full path to the header files. Never used make though, so it's just a shot in the dark..
