Okay so I just upgraded to debian sarge 3.0 and I have no sound. My sound card is the creative 2ZS so i really hope I can get it working seeing how it cost me alot. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem.

Perhaps your sound is just turned down.

Depending on what WM you use, there is usually a 'mixer' program that allows you to adjust volume. Is this not working?

Do you have alsa set up?

Your best bet is to make sure it's installed, and read the documentation.

According to alsa-project.org, Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS Platinum Pro (which looks to be your card) is supported.

Install help for your hard can be found here
