I just installed Linux on my system and the software is turning off the power to my onboard CPU fan header.

The fan comes on when I boot but shuts off when Linux starts to load.

Any help?

To help you, you need to help us.

What is your motherboard manufacturer + model?

Did you install any software to manage your onboard fan that caused this, or did this happen right after installing linux? You mention software, but it's hard to know what you're talking about.

Please provide us with more information.
