ok, im using fedora core 4 on a laptop and i have a creavive soundblaster 2 external usb soundcard. fc4 recognizes it and sees the module sound-usb-audio, but i when i try to use it, it just defaults to my laptop speakers. any ideas?

i've tried the ALSA drivers but im running into problems with the modprobe commands, and when i use the alsamixer, i only can edit the settings my laptops internal soundcard
