Ok, well i had mandrake linux 9.0 running with windows 2000 except on separate partitions. But i needed the space for windows so i deleted the partition. except i couldnt delete the bootloader. So i could still select to boot linux even though the Linux partiton was deleted. Today i randomly got a message upon booting "L 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99..." etc. Can anyone tell me what to do? I need help!!!
I'm kind of a newb so i need kind of newbish instructions. anyways..... thank you soo much for help.

To restore the Master Boot Record boot the PC using the W2K install CD. Select recovery mode and then run the fixmbr utility. Lacking a W2K install CD you can use a windows 98 emergency floppy boot disk and run the command fdisk /mbr.
