hello
firstly i apologise for asking a question thats probably answered elsewhere but...
ok here goes
i have a network of 5 pcs and a wireless laptop
2 x windows xp
1 x mac
2 x linux (newly installed)
one linux is mandriva, the other is fedora core
also have bt broadband running into a dlink wireless router (all the pcs are networked through the router... ie there is no pc as a server)
the windows and the mac can get solid internet connections, neither linux box will connect (both have had temporary, v slow connections, enough to load maybe half a page, then nothing)
both can ping the router
both set themselves up via dchp
also, they can see each other and the mac buut not the windows machines - although im not too bothered about this at this moment.
my main concern is getting them online
then .....

thanks in advance for any help
regards
kwakk

In the linux machines, what wireless adapters do you use? Is it the same in both?

Are you using the linux drivers found on the website of these cards, or are you using ndiswrapper?
