Ok, so I just installed SuSE 9.3 in dual boot with WindowsXP. This is the first time I have ever touched linux.

I'm trying to compile source code. I'm trying to run a file (configure) using the command "./configure". When I do this it gives an error saying that it "cannot guess host: you must specify one". To be honest, I have no idea what this means. I've been looking on the internet for over an hour and haven't found an answer.

Thanks.

Ok, I got past this problem and a few others...now I can an error when I "make" after configure

cc -o obj/gencpu obj/gencpu.o obj/readcpu.o obj/cpudefs.o
obj/readcpu.o(.eh_frame+0x11): undefined reference to `__gxx_personality_v0'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [obj/gencpu] Error 1

Any thoughts?
